just another night under the stars and moon!
Or wait? was this the night of the eclipse. hehehe listen carefully to the AUD for some funny conversation about the eclipse! The other nights AUD are pretty cool to hear the tapers and friends smoking and laughing. The night Hamza opened for them is probably a bit more significant and the energy is a fair bit higher IMHO. Its worth your time to hear it all though! The sugar magnolia is really good as is the Miracle... what a miracle the Dead in the land of the Dead! When time no longer slips like the river into the night, but as heat from the blazing light... yup, walk like an egyptian.

it is pure magic in the desert
one of the most magical shows i have ever heard. this is in my top five grateful dead performances and set lists for sure. everything went "perfect" and though this isn't the best sound quality, it is far better then i would have expected. i usually only get shows recorded from the Soundboard, but this one came out great.
